Over 25+ years David Francis divided his professional work between Physioworks Health Group & the Collingwood Football Club (AFL), where he was the Head Physiotherapist to the Collingwood AFL team (1996-2019), enhancing his extensive experience & leading reputation in elite sport injury management & the performance of elite athletes.
In 2019 David was awarded life membership of the Collingwood Football Club for his sport physiotherapy services to the club.
Since 2010, David Francis is the Head of Medical & Allied services for Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club (Victorian Premier Cricket). He was awarded the Vernon Wilcox Perpetual Award in 2023 for his long, distinguished services to the club.
With intensive, advanced specialist study, training & rigorous examinations, David Francis is awarded the title Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist* and has been awarded a Fellowship of the Australian College of Physiotherapy (FACP).
In 2011 David Francis, together with fellow Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist* Andrew Dalwood, established Physioworks Health Group Camberwell to provide an outstanding level of Specialist Musculoskeletal, Sports & General Physiotherapy service to the inner south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
David Francis graduated from La Trobe University in 1990 & commenced his physiotherapy career at the Goulburn Valley Hospital.
In 1993 he returned to Melbourne completing a year of full time study in 1995 to achieve his post-graduate diploma in Manipulative Therapy from LaTrobe University. Around this time, David Francis established Physioworks Health Group (Cranbourne & Pakenham), which continues to provide & extend its allied health care services to communities in the outer south eastern corridor of Melbourne.
David Francis was appointed as physiotherapist to the Victorian State of Origin Team (AFL) in 1999 & the AFL International Rules Team in 2001-2002. David has been a member of the AFL Physiotherapy Association since 1995 & is a past Vice President. He was awarded life membership of the AFL Physiotherapy Association in 2020.

Andrew Dalwood has spent a number of years teaching on the Manipulative Therapy post-graduate course at La Trobe University, and has a passion for teaching his peers – both undergraduates and post graduates; and is often involved in extensive clinical research studies, with the University of Melbourne.
With extensive experience in Industrial Physiotherapy, Andrew Dalwood consults to large, multi-national companies regarding ergonoimcs and process to reduce injury frequency and improve workplace injury management.
Andrew graduated from La Trobe University in 1990 and commenced his physiotherapy career at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. In 1995 he returned from 2 years working in the United Kingdom and completed a year of full time study to achieve his post-graduate diploma in Manipulative Therapy from La Trobe University.
In 1996 Andrew Dalwood joined Waverley Park Physiotherapy Centre. Andrew was the sole principal of the Waverley Park Physiotherapy Centre from 2000 until March 2024.
Andrew Dalwood (FACP) has been a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) since 1990, including time as Chairman of Victorian Chapter of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia. He continues to be an active member of the Association, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia and the Australian College of Physiotherapists.
Together with fellow Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist* David Francis and in conjunction with Specialist Physiotherapy Group, Andrew established Physioworks Health Group Camberwell in 2010 to provide an outstanding level of Specialist, Sport and General Physiotherapy service to the inner south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
