Recently the Waverley Park Physiotherapy Centre team an evening with the trainers, coaches and parents from the Waverley Park Hawks Junior Football club at the annual WPPC community injury prevention & management education seminar.
Held at the Mulgrave clinic, it was great to see so many new faces of people assisting in local community sport.
The WPPC physio team – Andrew Dalwood; James Serong, Rhea Torres & Jeremy Tan covered topics including common injuries and initial management, role of warm up & recovery, common taping & strapping techniques and concussion.
These educational events are in line with our ongoing role to promote & educate health & fitness in our community, so the team at WPPC are pleased to support clubs who promote sport participation and enjoyment…..and the kids love playing footy for the Hawks!
Hopefully the season continues to progress well for the club, and all the boys and girls get to participate in a full season of injury free footy this year. Go Hawks!!
