Physioworks Health Group Camberwell is delighted to continue our long term support in providing sports physiotherapy and health care services to the Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club (CMCC) for the 2018/19 season.
Now in its seventh season – 7 not out – the sponsorship and support highlights the ongoing commitment of the Physioworks Health Group in assisting local community based sporting clubs to maximise participation and performance.
CMCC compete in the Victorian Premier Cricket competition with a squad of 60+ players across 4 senior teams. The club continues to develop a strong junior cricket program for players aged Under 10 to Under 16 with 90+ junior players registered.
APA Sports Physiotherapist Brad Fernihough is the lead physiotherapist to the CMCC, assisting the playing squad across a long pre-season and now at training sessions in the prevention, management & treatment of cricket related injuries.
The Physioworks Camberwell team also provide a range of specialised services to the Magpies playing squad including Sports Massage Therapist Karyn Wheeler providing a range of Massage Therapy services.
With the Physioworks Camberwell clinic just down the road from the CMCC Sports Ground in Camberwell Rd, all treatments and full assessments are taking place at the clinic to ensure the very best treatment facilities for the Magpie playing squad.
