Physioworks Health Group are proud to continue our long term involvement in supporting junior community football by again sponsoring the Ashy Redbacks in Season 2017.
Physioworks Health Group Camberwell will provide ongoing health care education to the club, is a Team Sponsor of the Under 15 Boys (Green) team and is the proud exclusive sponsor of the Ashy Redbacks Girls Football Program.
Ashy Redbacks are part of the Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) with teams ranging from Under 8 to Under 17 Colts in boys and Under 13, Under 15, Under 16 and Youth Girls (Under 18) in girls.
The team at Physioworks Camberwell have a number of injury prevention and injury management initiatives planned for the club during the season. The first of these is an Injury Educational session for all club trainers, coaches and parents to assist with injury diagnosis, taping, training methods and concussion to be held on May 1st at our Camberwell clinic.
Physioworks Health Group Director & Collingwood Football Club Head Physiotherapist David Francis spoke of the importance of participation of both girls and boys in football and other sporting pursuits. ”I’m passionate about fun, enjoyable junior sport involvement for boys and girls as a key to long term sporting participation, which in turn leads to improved community health and well-being” said David, whose boy’s will continue playing with the club again this year.
