Physioworks Health Group is pleased to announce the extension and expansion of our long standing partnership with the South East Football League (SEFNL), until the end of the 2019 season.
Physioworks Health Group will now be the Sports Medicine Partner across the wider SEFNL community, including the SE Junior (SEJ), SEFNL, AFLSE Women’s League and SEFNL Netball competition.
Physioworks Director David Francis said “Physioworks Health Group are delighted to extend and widen our relationship with the SEFNL and its community. The SEFNL provides great opportunity for sport participation in the South East region across a wide demographic – for juniors, men and woman – in football and netball – for players, coaches, umpires, trainers or volunteers, so we are very much aligned regarding active participation as a key to the health and well-being of our community”.
Education of injury prevention and management across the wider SEFNL community – players, coaches, trainers, umpires and parents via ongoing organized education sessions and social media will be a key support service to be provided by Physioworks.
“Improving and ensuring a consistent level of health care and support for players across all clubs are key partnership goals so we will be working with the League, clubs and trainers regarding the best forums to further educate and support the clubs with injury management and health care issues” said David Francis.
Regular communication of injury and health care tips will be shared by Physioworks across the SEFNL social media platforms. Members of the Physioworks physiotherapy team will continue to provide training and match day services to numerous SEFNL clubs across the League, and Physioworks will again provide physiotherapy support for the SEFNL Inter-League teams. In addition, Physiowork Health Group will be sponsoring and presenting the SEFNL Volunteer of the Year Award.
David Francis commented, “At Physioworks we believe that ‘everyone is an athlete they just have different events’. For many in the SEFNL community that event activity is to support their clubs by volunteering their services. We actively encourage all activity and all participation as vital for your general health and wellbeing; so are we are delighted to be the sponsor the SEFNL Volunteer of the Year Award”.
With five clinics in Berwick, Cranbourne, Pakenham, Camberwell & Mulgrave, offering a diverse range of physiotherapy and allied health services, Physioworks Health Group is well placed to support the injury and health care needs of the SEFNL community.
