The team at Physioworks Health Group provide physiotherapy and health care support across local community footy and netball league/clubs in the South East Football Netball League (SEFNL), in the Ellinbank & District Football League (EDFL) and in the West Gippsland Football Netball Competition (WGFNC), and we extend congratulations to all clubs that participated in Grand Finals in 2017.
Physioworks Health Group Berwick Physiotherapist Paul Kemel provided his expertise in helping Berwick Football Club to the Senior and Reserves Premierships in the SEFNL. Congratulations to coach Stewart Kemperman, the players and all at Berwick FC on a fantastic season – as the club was undefeated in the Seniors. In the SEFNL Under 19’s Beaconsfield (U19A) and Pakenham (U19B) grabbed the flags.
In SEFNL Netball, we salute the Physioworks Health Group SEFNL Volunteer of the Year Shona Wells and her Tooradin Dalmore teammates in winning the A Grade Netball flag. And congratulations to Narre Warren (B & C Grade), Doveton (D Grade & U17R); Beaconsfield (U17W & U13W), ROC (U15R & U13R) and Berwick (U15W) for all winning SEFNL Netball Premierships.
It was an unforgettable Grand Final day in the EDFL for Catani FC winning the Senior EDFL Premiership in a one point thriller, having earlier won their first ever U18 flag in another thriller by only two points. Congratulations to Neerim South who won the EDFL Reserves flag and to Warragul Industrials for taking home the U16s EDFL flag.
And in the inaugural season for the West Gippsland Football Netball Competition (WGFNC), Inverloch Kongwak had a commanding premiership victory, while Koo Wee Rup (Reserve), Garfield (Thirds) and Bunyip (Fourths) all tasted premiership success. In WGFNC Netball congratulations to Dalyston (A Grade and U17) and Korumburra Bena (B Grade and U15) on their premiership success.
Our team at Physioworks Health Group Camberwell proudly continued our support and health care education in local community junior footy by sponsoring the Girls Footy and the U15 Green Boys team at the Ashy Redbacks in 2017. Congratulations to the Physioworks Health Group U15 Boys Green in celebrating YJFL premiership success. Awesome job by all; and also to the Ashy U12 Boys Greens on their flag, and the Ashy U16 Girls on competing in the Grand Final.
The Waverley Park Physiotherapy Centre team salute the Waverley Park Hawks Junior FC Under 12 Browns on their undefeated premiership winning season in the South Metro Junior Football League. Fabulous effort by the U12 team and all at the club. Well played Hawks.
Meanwhile at the elite level, Waverley Park Physiotherapy Centre Physiotherapist James Serong again provided his expertise this season as the team physiotherapist to the Box Hill Hawks who reached the VFL Preliminary Final last weekend.
