September 8th is World Physiotherapy Day, a day that marks the unity & solidarity of the Australian & global physiotherapy community.
World Physiotherapy Day is a great opportunity for us to recognise & celebrate the work that our team of physiotherapists at Physioworks Health Group do for our clients & our community.
Each year on World Physiotherapy Day there is a focus on a specific health condition. This year the core focus is on Arthritis.
Currently Knee Osteoarthritis (OA) is recognised as the most common joint problem for all, and it restricts and/or stops millions of people from pursuing & enjoying their everyday life activities.
Over the years, Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Andrew Dalwood (FACP) & other members of the physiotherapy team at Physioworks Health Group have had ongoing involvement in Knee Osteoarthritis (OA) research with leading institutions, including the University of Melbourne, This participation in clinical research helps to ensure that our physio team are at the forefront in how we think about, manage & treat Knee OA.
Can the Physioworks team assist you with your Knee OA, or other arthritic condition? Please call your preferred Physioworks clinic.
