Local community footy, soccer, basketball and netball are back for the winter!!

It is great to see so many back out on the field or court participating. And the Physioworks Health Group team are back actively supporting multiple local community sporting teams as Melbourne returns to community winter sports.

Injury prevention education is now critical given the level of inactivity that most players endured due to the cancellation of the winter sport 2020 season, so the Physioworks team have been providing guidance to coaches, trainers and players to ensure a safe and healthy return to winter sport, including Trainer Education Nights and health tips that the clubs share on team apps and/or social media.

Further the Physioworks team assist the playing squads of the clubs with management of injuries, providing a range of services, including Sports Physiotherapy, Sports Massage & Exercise Programs.

Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist David Francis & the Physioworks Camberwell team continue our 10 year health care relationship with the Ashburton Redbacks Junior Football Club in the YVJF League, including being the major sponsor of Ashy Girls footy (and David is also coaching the U16 Boys!)

At Physioworks Cranbourne and Pakenham, David Francis and the team are assisting the Ellinbank & District Football League (EDFL); AFL South East Juniors (SEJ) and AFL SE Woman’s Football (SEWF).
