Held in Hobart, the conference attracts doctors, surgeons and physiotherapists Australia wide, and from the USA and Asia, to update knowledge in the area of paediatric assessment and management.
Paediatric gait analysis is the systematic study of movement of children, focusing on how individuals move, walk or run, and is essential for helping in diagnosing movement disorders and enhancing rehabilitation.
With her extensive experience of over 25 years in paediatric physiotherapy, Liz Heeps and her group focussed the educational workshop on how to start gait analysis before progressing, if required, to 3-dimensional gait analysis.
