Physioworks Health Group Physiotherapist Madison Klooster recently worked as a match day physio for the AFLW Academy.
The AFLW Academy sees the most talented 18 -year-old female footballers from across the country combined into a team to participate in camps that allow for education and training at the highest standards. They then compete in several games prior to the AFLW draft, so recruiters can see the best go up against the best.
Last weekend the AFLW Academy played against a team called the All Stars.
The All Stars team was made up of 18-year-olds who missed out on Academy selection, supplemented with a number of 19-year-olds who were overlooked in last year’s draft. All were nominated by AFLW clubs.
Madison Klooster was part of the match day medical team, working as an additional physiotherapist across both teams across the AFLW match.
Physiotherapist Madison Klooster is also the team physio at the Berwick Football Club in 2025 and consults at Physioworks Cranbourne (call 5995 1111) and Physioworks Pakenham (call 5941 5499).
