The Exercise Physiology (EP) department at Physioworks Health Group continues to expand with Megan Jepson recently joining the EP team, headed by Brooke DeHey.
Megan has a Diploma of Health Science, is a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and recently completed her Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology.
Megan Jepson core focus is the exercise assessment and the prescription of:
- Geriatric populations for general de-conditioning, high falls risk and chronic conditions
- Obesity
- Diabetes
- Musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including chronic back pain
- Sport specific conditioning, particularly netball and swimming
Asked about her approach to EP, Megan stated “I have a real passion and desire to see people reach their ultimate goal, whether that is to fit into that size 10 dress or to finally be pain free. I firmly believe that a little bit of exercise can help everybody”.
Megan is a former sport trainer for the Dandenong Stingrays in the AFL Under 18’s. She is a current Board member and Netball Coach of Sandown Cobra’s Football and Netball Club.
Megan is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and a full member of Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
