The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) has recognised and titled Matthew Lynagh as a Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.
Matthew is consulting at the Cranbourne and Pakenham clinics of Physioworks Health Group.
To become tilted by the APA, Matthew studied for and completed a Masters in each discipline, needed to work full time as a physiotherapist for a minimum of two (2) years, completed over 20 hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD) in the last twelve (12) months and needed to be an active contributing member of relevant National APA groups.
Since completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011 at University of South Australia, Matthew has combined study with his work across a range of private and public clinical, hospital and local sport club assignments developing his health care consulting expertise, including being the current match day physiotherapist for the Tooradin-Dalmore Football Club in the SEFNL.
“Apart from the higher qualification, the APA title enables me to progress one step closer through the specialisation process; and it gets me closer to my ultimate goal of working in elite sport” said Matthew.
