Given the current situation with COVID-19 & the evolving Government guidelines recommending limited social interaction with those outside your household, Physioworks Health Group has introduced TeleHealth for physiotherapy & exercise physiology consultations as an alternative to help ensure ongoing management of your current condition.
Physioworks Health Group TeleHealth consults can be done from your home via telephone or ZOOM, a video based software. ZOOM is easily downloadable (2-3 mins) from an “email link” we will send to you when you make a booking.
Rebates:
- Several private health funds have available rebates from April 14th for current existing patients & new patients with chronic conditions or post-surgical rehabilitation. Check with your private health fund to see if they cover Telehealth.
- Rebates remain for Medicare referred patients under the EPC program.
- WorkCover is covering the cost of Telehealth.
- At this point in time, TAC will not cover the cost for TeleHealth consultations delivered by a physiotherapist.
Full Payment is required for your Telehealth consult by EFT (direct deposit) and receipts will be issued for you to claim your private health or Medicare rebate.
Telehealth Bookings can be made at a mutually suitable time by emailing or calling your preferred Physioworks clinic.
